It is approximately ten feet long and depicts the scene from Luke 7: 36-50 where the sinful woman washes Jesus' feet with her tears, wipes them with her hair and anoints them with fragrant oil.The painting is a study of an original painted in 1737 by artist Pierre Sableyras on display in the Louvre Museum in Paris. You have to see it to believe it!
